Some of you know me, some of you don’t! Here’s everything you didn’t know:
- On the rare occasion that I am free to bake/cook alone I measure out all my ingredients then narrate what I’m doing as if I’m an actual TV chef (picture a tired, clumsy, female Jamie Oliver)
- I have the best arguments with Mr. British Maple in my head, about three hours after he’s pissed me off.
- I tipped my ex-hairdresser even after he cut the top of my ear off…just to reassure him that “it’s fine, honestly, I’m really fine”
- I once let someone call me Tracey for three weeks because I didn’t want to embarrass them by correcting them
- I epically overthink pretty much everything
- I HATE the misuse of apostrophes and am neurotic about my own use of them
- Having said that, I don’t quite know what to do with a semicolon
- Until eight months ago I had no idea what a hashtag was
- This blog is the scariest thing I’ve ever done
- Whenever I buy something, I NEVER take the top/ first one. This applies to newspapers, clothes, packets, CDs, mugs, you name it
- I get
slightlyobsessed by on-screen couples who have good chemistry. Excessive IMDb-ing and Googling to make sure their real life relationships are solid feature heavily during my darkest moments. ♥ ♥ ♥ Emma and Hook, Rory and Jess, Aria and Ezra, Veronica and Logan…♥ ♥ ♥
- I do my best ‘blogging’ at 4am when I’ve finally got the kids back to sleep and I am wide awake; but refuse to leave my bed to write anything down
- I really like country and western music
- I truly believe everyone’s life would be improved if we all had a theme tune
I absolutely adore this list! I can relate to every single one, avoiding confrontation is on my list of things I desperately need to work on! #insecurity 😉 Blogging is also one of the scariest things i have every done….I think your blog is great, you shouldn’t be scared, you’re fabulous! #KCACOLS

Oh all of those couples…. just all of them! So many tears. I’m a massive over thinker too! This was a lovely read.

Love this – I can identify with a lot of them! I was mistaken as my neighbour whose a childminder once and then the moment passed for me to correct them…. it went on for a while without me having to actually say anything but eventually I had to fess up!
Thank you for linking up to a#KCACOLS and I hope to see you back again on Sunday x

Haha, this is brill! I do so many of these and I would love, I mean LOVE, a theme tune. (If you’ve ever watched ‘Family Guy’ there is an early episode where Peter imagines having a theme tune / soundtrack and it’s exactly what I want!) #KCACOLS

Sometimes my theme tune is a classical piece (when I’m feeling deep and artsy) and then something by Justin Beiber when I’m rocking a pair of Converse hi-tops!!!

I thought it was just me that did the whole pretending to be a chef thing! Glad I’m not the only one X #KCACOLS

This is a great post and I never know whether to tip my hairdresser or not. I can’t believe he cut the top of your ear off! My blog too was the scariest thing I had done, it’s not so scary once it’s done though. Thanks so much for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x

Love this. I frequently narrate my life in my head, especially when cooking. And my narrator’s voice usually has an English accent! #IHopeThat’sNotOffensiveToTheBrits!
